K. Kyle Ballew, D.P.M.

Upon graduation at McMurry College in Abilene, Texas, Dr. Ballew K. Kyle Ballew, D.P.Mcompleted his formal education at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine. His postgraduate training brought him home to a residency at the VA Medical Center in Waco, Texas that included all phases of podiatric medicine and surgery. Also during this period, Dr. Ballew rotated through three hospitals and several private offices where he received surgical and medical privileges pertaining to the practice of podiatry. He then continued his residency training in San Antonio, Texas, at the University of Texas Health Science Center to rotate through Brooke Army Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Audie Murphy VA Medical Center in San Antonio, and Robert B. Green Community Health Center in San Antonio.

In addition to podiatric medicine, Dr. Ballew has received training in anesthesiology, rheumotology, radiology, dermatology, neurology, and orthopedics, as well as becoming certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

Dr. Ballew currently serves on the alumni board of directors at McMurry University in Abilene, Texas. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Waco and the Woodway First United Methodist Church. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and currently serves as the president of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association.

Dr. Ballew grew up in Waco, so it was a natural move to select Waco as the location to establish his private practice. His interest in sports began by participating on the football and track teams at McMurry College, and has continued with an interest in playing basketball and tennis. He also enjoys expressing his Native American heritage by collecting Native American artifacts. Dr. Ballew enjoys living in Waco with his wife, Cathe, their dogs and horses.
